Ingredients

Instructions
Combine water, kosher salt, and granulated sugar in a pot. Heat until dissolved.
Add black peppercorns, garlic powder, onion powder, and bay leaves. Stir well.
Cool the brine completely.
Submerge poultry in the brine and refrigerate for 8-12 hours.
Rinse thoroughly before cooking.
