Preheat and Prep:
If grilling, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
If pan-searing or baking, preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels to ensure they get a good sear.
Season the Pork Chops:
In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Rub both sides of the pork chops with olive oil and season generously with the spice mixture.
Cooking Methods:
Grilling:
Place the seasoned pork chops on the grill.
Grill for 5-6 minutes per side, flipping only once, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
Remove from the grill and let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Pan-Searing:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.
Add butter, garlic, thyme, and rosemary to the skillet.
Baste the pork chops with the melted butter mixture for 1-2 minutes.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and cook for an additional 8-10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
Baking:
After seasoning, heat oil in a skillet and sear the pork chops on both sides for 3 minutes each.
Place the seared pork chops in a baking dish.
Pour chicken broth into the dish and bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
