Marinate the steaks in calamari.:
Combine in a small bowl olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
Arrange the calamari steaks on a shallow dish then drizzle with marinade.
Check the steaks for consistent marinade coverage. For extra flavor, cover the dish and chill for at least half an hour, or up to two hours.
Get ready the Grill by:
Set your grill to medium-high heat—about 400°F or 200°C.
If you have a charcoal barbecue, get the coals ready until they are white ash coated.
Cook the Calamari Steaks grilled.
Grill the Calamari Steaks:
Take the calamari steaks out of the marinade and shake any extra liquid away.
Salt and pepper season both sides of the steaks.
Cook the steaks opaque and with good grill marks by setting them on the grill and spending two to three minutes on each side. Steer clear of overcooking as broiled for too long will turn calamari tough.
Make the Lemon Garlic Butter:
Melt the butter in a little saucepan over low heat while the steaks cook.
Add a little of salt and minced parsley. Take off the heat and put aside.
Serve the Calamari Steaks:
Move the cooked calamari steaks to a serving tray once again.
Over the steaks drizz the lemon garlic butter.
If wanted, garnish with fresh parsley and additional lemon wedges.
