or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee

Instructions
Prepare the espresso or strong coffee and let it cool slightly.
In a cocktail shaker or mason jar, combine the espresso, brown sugar syrup, and 1 cup of ice.
Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15-30 seconds until the mixture is well combined and frothy.
Fill a tall glass with fresh ice.
Strain the shaken espresso mixture over the ice in the glass.
